Two canoe-builders, members of the Stalo Halkomelem on the Chilliwack Reservation, doing the rough hewing on a pair of racing canoes. Each of the boats is fashioned from half of a split red cedar trunk and is intended to provide sufficient space for 11 men to paddle.
