The wadi of Ihérir is an oasis inhabited since the Neolithic period, located in the Tassili n'Ajjer Cultural Park in southern Algeria. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 and a Human and Biosphere Reserve in 1986, Ihérir is the only real watering hole in this desert region.
