Der Komplex aus rund neunzig zum Teil gewaltigen Monolithplatten wird dem Küsten-Chavín-Stil zugeordnet, obwohl die Reliefs wenig mit den anderen altperuanischen Steinarbeiten zu tun haben und eher Ähnlichkeiten mit der mexikanischen Monte-Albán-Kultur aufweisen. Die im Profil dargestellten Figuren blicken alle zum Haupteingang des Tempels. - 1976
