Description

Argentina, the country of bovines, however, has a wildlife that is well represented and varies from one region to another. In this area, the Atlantic coastline occupies a privileged place. It is true that it stretches, from north to south, over hundreds of kilometres. Mammals and birds abound on the coasts. In Cabo dos Bahías (province of Chubut) there is a huge colony of penguins. These animals are protected. They live their lives in peace and quiet and are a fascinating subject of study for the naturalist. They are not very shy and are easy to approach. - 1973
