Newspaper Rock: Combination of animals, hand and footprints, as well as figures representing people, shields, spirals and sun symbols. The pictographs span several centuries and are therefore difficult to date. The wall is 16 feet high. The large "wheel" represents a decorated shield; the largest figure in the upper right hand corner is 14 inches tall. Newspaper Rock State Historical Monument, Indian Creek State Park (Utah).
